WHEW!

This will be brief. We did not get to much of a storm. It hit about 50 miles south of us. It has rained almost non stop since yesterday evening. We have had heavy wind all night and all day today with gust at 53 mph. Yikes! So thankfully we did not need the supplies or the shutters. Thats what we always hope for. We have a 60% chance of rain the rest of the week and 20 -25 mph winds. Yuck! Anyways, we are all okay!!

Waiting for the Hurricane(:

We are sitting here watching tv and checking on the latest updates on where in the heck this hurricane is going to hit.  If you are in Florida or from Florida then you know the drill…put up the shutters, bring everything in from the outside, stand in line to get water and batteries, wait in long lines to get gas and then wait… all the while hoping that you don’t need any of it.

Chrissy and Kyndal are staying the night with us. Willie is a firefighter and so he is on duty. Steven and Emily also have their house shuttered up and so they are staying there. The weather is supposed to take a turn for the worse as the night goes on, with the storm hitting around 8:00 Tues. morning. As bad as we hate this hurricane stuff all I can say is AT LEAST WE DON’T HAVE 45 MOBILE HOME RENTALS THIS TIME!!!!

At this point we don’t know if we will loose our power or not. If we do, we don’t know how long it will be off. So I will update you all as soon as I can. Wish us luck!!

Vacation to Ohio

Roger and I just spent a week in Ohio visiting family. We were very fortunate to have a real nice cabin to stay in while we were there. Roger’s nephew Chris and his wife Stephanie were generous enough to let us stay there. It was great because we were able to spend time with them and their kids Brycen and Jadyn. It was also jsut the type of vacation that we needed. It is very laid back up there. He lives up on a hill that over looks pastures all the way around. It was very peaceful and quiet and relaxing. So many times when we vacation we are so busy “doing things” that we don’t really just chill out and relax. Well let me tell ya, we were chillin and relaxin! For those of you that know me, you know that relaxing doesn’t come easy for me. So this was good! We went to Roger’s brother Danny’s church on Sunday. He is the pastor and his family does a great job with the music at his church. It was really nice to see everyone and visit with them. Like in our family, all of the neices and nephews now have kids of their own. I don’t know where the time goes. The last leg of our trip was to go to Roger’s uncles house in Dayton. He got to see a couple of his cousins up there too. I was disappointed on the way home. We got into the airport and the Cinnabon store had closed 10 minutes earlier. What a bummer. I LOVE THOSE THINGS!!!! It was good to get back home and see our Ellie girl. Rogers mom and dad kept her for us. That is like her second home, she loves it there.

Aside from vacation, Chrissy and Willie got moved into their new house right before we left. They really have a nice house. It is so good to have both of our kids back home (our area, not our house!) Steven took care of the car washes for us while we were gone and did a great job. Chrissy checked on our house and got it ready for us when we got back. We arrived late so she came over and turned the air down etc. Now that we are back home, it’s back to work and the day to day things that go on. I start at new cycle class at a new gym. I will now teach 3 cycle classes each week as well as an abdominal boot camp. I absolutely love it!! Rog is headed back to the car washes. Of course we both look forward to seeing our Kyndal girl and we both really missed her while we were gone. People in Ohio probably got tired of hearing our Kyndal stories.

I will write again when I have something new. You know we don’t have a whole lot that goes on, but we like it that way!! Put us in your favorite places and check back in now and then. Leave us a message when you visit this site to let us know you were here. You can put it at the bottom. I would love to keep in touch with everyone and this website would be a good place for us to do that.

Take Care!!!

Fourth of July Fun!!

Roger and I headed down to the beach for the fourth. We had a great time. We stayed at Sanibel Harbor. Some friends that have a boat (Tad and Lisa) also stayed there. We went by boat to Ft, Myers Beach (about 15 min by boat) and another friend (Mark) had a huge party there. The fireworks that night were honestly the best I think I have ever seen. They lasted for a really long time and the finale was awesome. I was planning to post a picture of the fireworks but left my camera in the room. My bad. I do have a few pictures posted for you to see. The view from our room was absolutely beautiful!! The only bad thing about the weekend is that our kids weren’t able to be with us. Steven, Emily and Willie all had to work and Chrissy had Kyndal. The activities were not really ones that a baby could enjoy. I hope you all had a good fourth too!

Catch Up With The Neal’s

Hello Everybody,

We have gone high tech to try to keep in touch with friends and family. The picture above is our whole clan. Roger and I are blessed enough to have both of our kids living within 4 to 5 miles from us. Some of you may already know some of this stuff, but bear with me as I try to update everyone.

Roger and Cheryl:
